...New Season's Market. Ron is going out today and we decided to eat at the store on our way home. We all love soup and both girls were very happy about that decision :) There are always three soups, full declaration of the ingredients, and at least one "safe" soup. Today there were three and Alena was in luck as one of them was also vegetarian. So it was white bean soup for Alena, Indian style chicken and rice soup for Mia Rose, and a salad for me. I feel so lucky about leaving in Portland, having such a greatnlocal store right down the Street for us, and - in this context - most of all for all the wonderful Galactosemia safe foods we can get almost anywhere. Tofutti at the Bagel Shop? Vegan Pancakes, vegan cupcakes, vegan butter, etc.? It is all no Problem here in SE Portland - and probably no where here in our beautiful city in the Pacific Northwest...
