For the potluck I made a pasta salad - I actually think that this is the best pasta recipe ever...
It is a Jamie Oliver recipe -> http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/vegetarian-recipes/the-best-pasta-salad - instead of yellow and red tomatoes I used only red. This recipe always turns out....

I love the area around the gorge, it's beautiful! It does get a little hot in the middle of the summer though, I remember a number of family vacations when it was almost 100 when we visited the gorge. At least it's not humid though, here it's 95 and very humid!! Love pasta salad, it's the perfect picnic food :)
Nice, hot, and dry in the middle of summer :) We were so excited to have a dry & sunny campout and hike :) Apparently it was showers off and on in Pdx Saturday and Sunday :))) We love the Gorge too...
